Jason and Suzanna’s pre-wedding photo shoot in Macau, and their romantic stay at Studio City Hotel
This summer, Hitchbird offered a ton of goodies up for grabs in our Hello Summer giveaway. (The winner's list is up now, by the way!) One of them was a pre-wedding photo shoot holiday in Macau won by Jason and Suzanna. They got their photos taken two weeks ago to lead up to their October wedding.
The 3-day, 2-night couple's vacation included a stay in the Premier King Suite at the amazing Studio City with daily breakfast, one-hour Zensa spa experiences, and admission to the fabulous Golden Reel. Ben Wong of Ben Wong Photography took them to no less than three different spots during the shoot, and our resident makeup expert Mel Ieong did the bride's makeup.

"Studio City was a fabulous choice of hotel. The interior is well-maintained, so it looks newly built. We were so impressed with the service and staff. The spa experience was really nice, too. We adored the facilities and masseur room. And two thumbs waaaay up for the Jacuzzi! It was amazing.
Both Mel and Ben are artists and have personal preferences, but they're really adaptive to our needs, too. Mel was really detail-oriented and did a great job with my makeup. As for Ben, he has the kind of photo-taking instinct that comes with lots of experience. All in all, they're really nice people! They were easy to talk to and the photo shoot went really smoothly. Job well done to both!"
Their Love Story
Believe it or not, Jason and Suzanna didn't like each other at first! They met on the street through Suzanna's job as a luxury properties sales, not sure what Jason was really after. Over the viewing, she asked for his contact information. Scared Suzanna was one of those stalker-type salespeople, Jason refused, but Suzanna just grabbed his phone and called herself. Just like that, she had his caller ID. (I guess that's one way to get a guy's number!)
But you know what they say about hate and love. Almost a year later, their paths crossed again. Jason took the initiative and they fell in love. Now they get along splendidly, though they still fight—over food! Both of them are real foodies. Suzanna herself is a brilliant cook, something Jason adores. She's deft at Chinese, Italian, desserts, you name it.
