Beyond the Wall & Down the Aisle

The excitement in the air was palpable and the bride and groom couldn’t have looked happier. On June 23rd, Rose Leslie and Kit Harington tied the knot since first meeting in 2012 on the set of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones.

The wedding took place in a church at Leslie’s hometown in Aberdeen, Scotland, while the reception was held at Wardhill Castle where Leslie’s family’s estate is. The bride looks absolutely flawless in a stunning long-sleeved lace wedding gown by Elie Saab Bridal, while the groom looked dashing in his suit with the biggest smile on his face.

And what’s a Game of Thrones wedding without a little memento of the show? The couple reportedly sent out their wedding invites with limited edition-stamps released by Royal Mail which featured none other than Harrington as Jon Snow along with other characters from the show.

Among the attendees of the wedding where the couple’s other co-stars, including Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke.

Fans have been smitten with the then on-screen couple known as Jon Snow and Ygritte, who found love and romance beyond the wall. As they left the church hand-in-hand as husband and wife and infectious smiles, you couldn’t help but smile to see just how happy they were to begin the next chapter of their real-life romance.
