Big Events in a Small Town, The Roots of Love: Pre-wedding Photoshoot

Marriage is one of the biggest milestones in a person's lifetime. Some people go overboard with planning their pre-wedding photo shoot, eager to snap up the hottest new thing, running to and fro for that so-called "most special" location to express their love. From my standpoint, I was born in Macau, I was raised in Macau, and I will choose Macau to be the starting point of my memories as a wife-to-be.

結婚是人生大事，不少朋友會準備一「年」串的計劃，前鋒莫過於婚前拍攝，年青人愛新事物，往往跑到異地取景，務求得到大家口中「最特別」的美譽，在於本人立場，生於澳門、長於澳門，所以我會選擇澳門作為我的回憶。

Once upon a time, Macau was but a tiny town, a humble fishing village as everyone saw it as in the 1920s. The olden parts of the city are now historical relics and one of the most special in particular is a quaint intersection between a wall of malls and the main street.

Recent years have been good to the economy. The streets, the buildings and society itself has gradually changed. We've been so blessed to see Macau "grow up."

近年經濟起飛，街道、樓房及社會面貌改變不少，我們看見澳門「成長」。

I was born and raised in Macau. My roots stem from Macau, my heart is in Macau. The smiles on the drivers' faces truly reflect the warmth and spirit of this small town.

土生土長澳門人，根在澳門，心在澳門，從司機的笑容，最能表達這裡的人情味。

The structures, sculptures and colours of Macau's city centre are subtle creations of classical beauty.
