Luxury location in Melbourne sets the scene for a unique celebration of love back in time.
As F. Scott Fitzgerald (also known as Great Gatsby) once said “there are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice”. He couldn’t have been any more correct if he was to witness that special day in the lives of Catherine and Andoni. A celebration so richly sprinkled with the essence of the early 1920s Gatsby era.
Located in the heart of the Macedon Ranges of Victoria (Australia) lies Grange Cleveland Winery, a luxurious winery accommodation offering breathtaking views across the vineyard and a property with modern architecturally designed guest suites lying along the historic 1890s Homestead. It was here that got the couple’s nod to be their dream wedding grounds on February 19th earlier this year. Certainly quite fitting considering Catherine and Andoni, French and Spanish respectively, share no love-loss with the Merlot, Chiraz, Sauvignon and Chardonnay families (just to name a few).

As the guests arrived, the bride and groom got ready together whilst sipping some chilled champagne and finalizing the last minute preparations. The open-air ceremony led by local civil wedding celebrant Benn Stone, had everything but the ordinary as the Gatsby theme brought tons of glamour and fun at the same time. Everywhere you looked, you were sure to see a parade of pearls, tassels, headbands, vests, hats, canes and bow ties. The perfect combination of blooming colorful flowers and touching wishes from the couple’s loved ones whilst they blessed the rings one by one, made it a unique feast for the eyes and was all captured best through the camera work of H2HStudios – International & Destination Wedding Photographer.

The ceremony ended with the celebratory pouring of champagne over a tower of glasses that was all prepared by the couple themselves. A small appetizer serving followed before the grand feast, which took place upstairs in the salon of the winery, which once again, Chaterine and Andoni had decorated to their custom taste. Music, dance, fun and laughter remained in the air for the rest night and the appearance of the 4 letters LOVE in the room capped off an extraordinary and memorable celebration, and yes Mr. Gatsby, never will there be the same love twice…
