How to look cool instead of being too cheesy?
May be I am just a fashion geek, I do love to have dress code with my friends and boyfriend on special days. Not sure what do you think about couple wear, but this is a very tricky topic. How to look cool instead of being too cheesy? Also how to convince your boy to wear a matchie matchy outfit with you? There is a few ways to have matching looks with your boy.
1. Colours
This is very straight forward, as simple as "Let's go for black and white today!". That your boy is still at his comfort zone, picking the right colours in his wardrobe to match with your theme. This is more an entry level for guys to start couple wear habit with you, and you can always help him with his style. Better style, better communication and definitely spice up your relationship! (Remember to tell him how amazing he looks after his "cooperation", tadahhh)
2. Pattern
Okay, level 2 - Patterns! I am not saying leopard print or something like Cath Kidston floral print, he is gonna kill you! ( But well, of cause you know better =P) Try something like strips or check, guys always look good with geometrical patterns. And you know the next big trend is the "scottish-tartan" print, babe, we gonna lead the fashion trend, aren't we?
3. Style
If both of you are a fashion guru, there shouldn't be a problem with you both on level 1 and 2! You can jump to the "Devine" level right away, without any colour or pattern guidance, sync in style. There is a new collaboration collection from Esprit X Opening Ceremony which is an ideal style guide for fashionista couple! The whole series included both street style and sports wear for men and women with some unisex style too, they are perfect for weekend and travel looks, comfy and stylish. This is actually a breaking news for me to see this two iconic fashion labels collaborate, one is our "teenage memories" and one is our "trend setter", by using the internet slang nowadays, I will call it "tbt coolista". The designs of the whole collaboration using many loose fit cutting, the soft touch fabric draping on body to echo the chillax California style, it's very easy to carry for all body figure types.
