Transportation to Ishigaki
Located along the coast of Okinawa Prefecture, Ishigaki is the southernmost island of the Yaeyama Islands. With a sparse population of 40,500, it's a land of peace and isolation. Many flights within Japan go there, with an estimated three hours from Tokyo, two and a half hours if you're flying from Osaka, and a mere one hour from Oskinawa itself. International flights include a one-hour flight from Taipei, travelling via China Airlines, and Hong Kong Express at two hours. Ships and planes are no stranger to the Yaeyama Islands, coming and going regularly from Taketomi Island, Iriomote Island, Kohama Island, Kuroshima, Hateruma, and the other smaller islands.
The island has buses and taxis, the former of which can reach the urban downtown area and major tourist attractions, but land is sparse, so bus routes are limited and waiting-times are long. For weddings that operate on a tight schedule, renting a car or driving yourself is recommended to avoid losing time.

One step into the hotel and you'll see a high-ceilinged lobby, simple yet elegant in design. Two more steps and it yawns into a breathtaking view, practically endless, a cerulean marriage of sky and ocean. A quick lift ride down, behind wide panes of glass, is an outdoor swimming pool, a little white chapel, and pristine snowy beaches.

The bride and groom, obviously, should have the suite with the twin balconies. Aside from a separate bedroom and living room, it has its own little dining nook for private romantic dinners as well as a spacious dressing room and closet.

It's a crime to visit Ishigaki and not sample one of the finest cuts of Kobe beef in the world—locally bred and raised Isigaki cattle. To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of beef, but Ishigaki Kobe beef is tender and juicy. It goes well with sushi, Teppanyaki (food roasted on an iron board) or some self-administrated barbequing. Quality Japanese restaurants around Hong Kong and Macau usually charge a bundle for Kobe beef, but here in this classy "izakaya", it's available for the low price of ￥220 per sushi roll. Even if you chow down on their other exquisite beef dishes and sushi, it'll only cost around a few hundred dollars (HK)—a little more than a thousand for Taiwanese currency. Eat to your heart's content!

Unsurprisingly dubbed as one of Japan's must-visit areas, the water is so clear, you can actually see the ocean floor. Swimming is forbidden, but visitors can board a glass-bottomed boat out to admire the colourful coral reefs.

Around 80% of Iriomote is pure untouched nature. A serene testimony of simpler, greener times, it's been called the "Oriental Amazon" and "Japan's Last Mystery." This sheltered area boasts the country's largest mangrove forest. That day, me and my squad—led by our fearless tour guide—footed steep mountain cliffs, discovered hidden waterfalls, and canoed through twisted foliage. Nature-lovers will rejoice at the schedule planned.

Behind the quaint shop is a grassy park scattered with enormous signature SISA stone guardians. It feels almost surreal, being surrounded by these friendly monsters.

A mere 15 minutes from the dye workshop, it's totally worth stopping by.

Not time for check-in, so you can pick up a few souvenirs at the airport before walking leisurely to the international boarding area at 15:30. Since Ishigaki currently only has direct flights from Taiwan and Hong Kong, the international terminal is quite small. With that being said, the boarding process is quick and extremely efficient.
由於還未夠時間CHECK-IN，大家可以到國內航站那邊購買手信，到了15:30才步回國際航站CHECK-IN登機，現時石垣島只有台北及香港航班，所以國際航站很小，但登機流程亦非常之快！
