Travelling to a foreign destination for a pre-wedding photo shoot has the bonus of vacation time. We have outlined several stunning sites to take pre-wedding photos in this chance-driven city. Highlights include vintage castle-like courtyards, sprawling staircases, and some very classy hotels.

DAY 1
Arrive in Macau after lunch and check in at hotel. You might see a Ferris wheel in the shape of the number eight walking in. You may feel an urge to get on the shimmering GOLDEN REEL. Indulge that wish.
Meet the makeup artist and photographer to discuss shoot during Studio City's awesome buffet. Another suggestion is high tea at the historic Pousada de Sao Tiago. The place was once a battle fortress against European nations and pirates, absolutely brimming with culture and history.
Walk around the local sights. The cobblestone streets of Largo Do Senado or the battered Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral are both great choices. Take an Instagram selfie for your friends back home!
Dinner at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Robuchon au Dome. From its perch in the dome of the Grand Lisboa Hotel, it has an awe-inspiring view of Macau in all its glittering finery. The food and décor is exquisite. Remember to make a reservation in advance!
DAY 2
Breakfast at Studio City

Pickup by photographer to selected venue. The magic begins!
Relax by Studio City's huge pool after a long day of photo-taking. Get a facial or massage at the hotel's spa too!
Watch a show at The House of Dancing Water. It's a live play/dance that utilizes real water on stage. Acrobats careen through the air while dancers splash a waltz below—definitely not to be missed.
Dinner by the ocean at Miramar. They serve authentic Portuguese food with select ingredients shipped directly from their homeland Portugal. Aside from a BBQ area, they also have an open-sky eating section right on the beach. Clink glasses with your fiancé under the stars.
DAY 3
Try Macau's famous pork chop buns for breakfast. The restaurant Tai Lei Loi Kei looks a little shabby from the outside, but it's one of the most renowned eateries on the island. The hot tender meat is heaven.
Go bungee jumping at Macau Tower. It's currently the highest bungee jump in the world at 233 meters. If you're not quite sure about plummeting to earth with only a parachute, they offer a safer, just as thrilling experience called Skywalk. You walk a special no-handrails bridge looping around the outer perimeter of the tower. Safely harnessed, of course.
Lunch at 360° Café. Get the entire heights experience! Macau Tower has a revolving restaurant that rotates a full 360 degrees every one and a half hour. The food is amazing and the view even more so.
Rent a bike and cycle around Macau's landmarks. There's the charming Coloane Village with pastel Portuguese-style houses, Black Sand Beach and its literally black sand, and finally a much needed snack at Lord Stow’s Bakery for their world-famous Portuguese custard tart.
Almost time to go! Head over to Old Taipa Village to grab some souvenirs for your friends back home before saying goodbye to the quaint, bustling city.

Gondola Ride at Venetian Macau. They have an actual water canal modelled after Venice. The gondolier will serenade you and your sweetheart as you go rowing down the gentle waves.
Water slide at Galaxy Macau. Longest water slide in the world. Whiz down all 575 meters, then explore the park's themed tropical gardens and other water-related activities.
Coloane Go-Kart. All the fun of car-racing, but with cuter, more miniature cars. The track is one of the most challenging ones in Asia.
Helicopter Ride. Enjoy a whole new world from up in the sky. The trip is one-way to Hong Kong, but you can always book a return ride back or take the ferry. It's extremely cheap and you can enjoy the sights of Hong Kong from on the waves.
