Overseas natives Rochelle and Shaun tie the knot in "Asiaâ€™s Global Cityâ€, with a sparkle of local culture and flavour.

"When I first met Rochelle and Shaun, they told me they didn’t want to host their wedding in a hotel and instead, they wanted to host it somewhere unique in Hong Kong. As the bride and groom were from Australia and USA respectively, all their guests had to fly in from their hometowns to witness this special occasion in Hong Kong. After searching through a few venues, I came across The Cube at PMQ which I then suggested to the couple as their wedding venue. After the 1st site visit, the couple absolutely loved the venue! It was an empty space to start with but we transformed it totally into a beautiful and romantic wedding venue for the 93 guests (including the couple) that were to attend. We separated the venue into 3 sections, the first of which was the entrance which included the cocktail area and photo backdrop, the second section was the dance floor and the live band and last but not least, the third section was the dining area."

"The theme of the occasion was none other than Hong Kong and the chosen theme colour was a gorgeous shade of teal. The photo backdrop displayed a day and evening view of the city along with glimpses of local transportations such as the peak tram, MTR and buses. We also had some lanterns hanging from the ceiling to bring out the local Chinese feel and at the cocktail session, to keep up with true Hong Kong feel, we even served fish balls and siu-mai as snacks! It was a very good way for the guests to feel part of local HK tradition and taste our local snacks which have become so popular across the globe."
