Just 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, our venue offers numerous flexible spaces to host a truly unique wedding catering from 10 through to 220 seated guests. An outdoor ceremony at Cable Bay provides a magnificent backdrop for exchanging your wedding vows, overlooking breath-taking ocean views of the Hauraki Gulf. With unbelievable food and attentive, professional service, you and your guests will be the centre of our attention. There are various settings for your ceremony, including the gazebo, under the willows or on the lake jetty. While you have your photos taken in our pristine gardens, your guests will enjoy our handmade canapés and ice cold Champagne. The Lake View room is our main dining room, and can seat 120 guests. The adjoining Vineyard Room is an ideal dance floor area and is also our wet weather alternative. We believe in the importance of the little touches, the ones that make us different.. Central but private, it is a haven in the heart of Newmarket, Auckland's premier shopping precinct. The motorway nearby means easy access from the central city, north or west Auckland and the airport. Out of town guests can find accommodation in a choice of motels an easy walking distance away. A tree canopied rise next to the croquet court is ideal for a garden ceremony, or you can choose to be married in the ballroom. The availability of both spaces means you don't have to be anxious about the weather. Being able to hold your ceremony and reception at the one venue saves a lot of hassle and hold-ups for your guests. The sensitively restored historic barn “The Loft” is the perfect setting for your country wedding, with a chapel/banquet area upstairs and bar and dance floor downstairs. The Loft can accommodate 120 guests for a sit-down banquet and wood-fired heating makes it ideal for winter as well as summer weddings.
