The dramatic bamboo archway provides your entrance to the beautiful ceremony lawn which is graced by a traditional Samoan Fale, used to sign the marriage licence. After your ceremony, and to give your wedding a true feel of being in the tropics, the bar is located in a unique bamboo and thatch summer house where you can enjoy celebration drinks and canapes on the deck and surrounding lawn.
In case of rain, there is a covered high top marquee surrounded in lush tropical plants. With 6 acres of modern tropical resort styled gardens plus Sunnydale homestead which graces the property, there are so many photo opportunities for your group and couple photos. Other features include Indonesian Bales (Bure), dramatic bamboo entrance archway, the vintage train wagon door, mondo mounds and wild flower meadows – the possibilities are endless.
As you walk through the giant bamboo your wedding reception begins. A truly tropical dining experience in the silk lined resort pavilion, providing seating for up to 100 guests. As the sun goes down the plantation bar opens where your guests can enjoy cocktails into the night. Dramatic garden lighting, fairy lights, starlight globes, floating candles and gas flame torches come alive and transform the garden into a magical tropical night.
