Patravadi Mejudhon, the legendary actress, established Patravadi theatre and imbued it with all her passions and talents. She was a pioneer in the world of Thai theatre, an award-winning actress in movies, television and stage, as well as an acclaimed director and playwright. She was and continues to be a celebrated figure in Thai dance and theatre and also a pioneer in Thailand’s performing arts scene who holds high to international standards and maintains Thailand cultural roots.
Today, Patravadi Theatre has extended its outreach beyond Bangkok, to other parts of Thailand and engraved the soul of performing arts to the property. That’s how ‘Theatre Residence’ has come into being, where it has been developed into a glasshouse riverside Hotel to welcome travellers, who are passionate about exploring ways of native living in art and culture of traditional surroundings.
